From 2025 to 2027, MIFB will host the Malaysia National Barista Championship (MNCC) and launch the new \Malaysia Café Expo\ platform.
The coffee and tea beverage trend aligns with the \Future-Ready Food Industry\ theme. MIFB 2025 will focus on the burgeoning coffee and tea beverage scene and the rise of coffee culture, echoing the dynamic trends in the culinary industry, including the growing demand for specialty coffee, and the popularity of Ready-to-Eat (RTE) and Ready-to-Cook (RTC) products, and digital technology enhancing dining experiences.
The 24th MIFB will be held on July 30 to August 1, 2025, in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, gathering domestic and international coffee, tea, and related sectors (such as beverages, baking, and desserts) exhibitors, and as the stage for the MNCC semi-finals and finals. This national event aims to discover and cultivate local coffee talent through a year-long competition, culminating at MIFB 2025.
As an authoritative platform in Malaysia's specialty coffee scene, MSCA provides a stage for local coffee newcomers. Meanwhile, MIFB 2025 will host the first \Malaysia Café Expo\ in conjunction with MyFoodTech 2025, releasing the potential of Malaysia's vibrant coffee culture.
