It is a bureau-level central public institution supervised by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and operational guided by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China. CCDC is the organizer of the China International Food and Beverage Exhibition (CIFB) and the China Commerce Development Forum (CCDF).
